Ray Comfort’s “Atheism Central”

Ray Comfort recently renamed his blog to Atheism Central. Hilarious! The comments are often atheists making fun of his posts, or fundies quoting the Bible at the atheists, so it’s quite fitting. I read it regularly for a good laugh.

His comment policy is still in effect, though:

Cuss words (mild or abbrev.), blasphemy, URL’s, incivility, or failure to give the name “God” or “Jesus” capitals, will be deleted.

  1. What If You Were To Write A Post That Had Every Word Capitalized? Would That Still Get The Message Across?

    :P

  2. While capitalizing “Jesus” and (depending on context) “God” is merely proper English, it does seem pretty anal to make that a moderation criterion.

what if someone consistently uses the e.e.cummings no-caps writing style, just out of preference?

  3. Soon After he Instituted his Capitalization Policy, I Vowed Never To Capitalize ray comfort Again.

I’m Also Kinda Glad he Changed his Title, Because I’m Already On A Soapbox At My Blog.

  4. Apparently, it’s fuelled by the fact that we took over his comments pages, so his blog is basically an atheist community…

probably more so than Dawkinsnet, which tends to attract the real rabid antitheists

  5. Samuel Skinner

It is a special kind of person who attracts so many opposing people so that their site is a defacto headquarters for their enemies… and I do mean “special”.

  6. I’ve posted twice so far on Comfort’s blog. So far my Com-ments have not Com-forth.

I suppose Bananman thinks they might stain his blog. Would that be a Com …

    Oh forget it.

  7. Correction to my last. He gets a couple of hundred earnest pleadings and similar per post, so I suppose I was just caught in moderation hell … or purgatory …
