Nice! The original ad was about as logical as this one was…
Parody is a great way to show up the bigots for what they are – great to see it.
That’s… Just… Awesome :D
can i join the national organization for man lady marriage? sounds like something i’d be interested in.
How many parodies of this damn thing are out there? There’s has to be a least a half dozen, not even counting the Rachael Maddow footage of their try-outs.
I think NOM has failed in their goals, but they’ve been a real boon to Youtube.
The site actually exists!

This video shows the real trouble with self-righteous head-up-their-*** theocrats: they’re not (intentionally) very funny. Bring on the gay man rain and the world will be a better place.
There are so many parodies. I still think the Colbert one was the best. I can’t find it on Youtube though.
Entirely agreed. I have yet to see a parody that even comes close to being as awesome as the Colbert one.
The Colbert parody is definitely the most outstanding one.
You can find it on colbertnation.com. ;)

Thx!
They should have called themselves The National Organization for Opposite Marriages. Isn’t that what Ms California calls those hetero marriages?
Nah. Let them keep calling themselves NOM and there ridiculous movement 2M4M (2 million for marriage). It makes it much more obvious how out of touch they are. I find the humor makes the despair I feel for these peoples humanity much easier to swallow.
OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!
….I’m sorry. That’s all I can think right now.
How about “National Organization for Marriage of Opposites” = NOMOs?
I am still waiting for the parody that breaks into the obvious “It’s Raining Men” chorus. (Hallelujah!)
Here is a great video of Radio host Tom Hartmann exposing the thinly veiled hate behind NOMs purpose, via Brian Brown. It is great to hear him get all flustered every time time Tom points out that his arguments are nothing but bigotry.

What I really dislike about the whole NOM movement is the way they are trying to redefine their bigoted view point by claiming that their objections is purely on the grounds of what they define as ‘marriage’. At least the old school ‘I hate gays’ mentality was honest. What you end up with is “I don’t hate gays I just don’t want them to have the same rights as me.”
“I am still waiting for the parody that breaks into the obvious “It’s Raining Men” chorus.”
I actually saw a “Gathering Storm”/”Raining Men” mash-up. It was one of the first parodies. But since it was a mash-up that reused the commercial, NOM was able to have it pulled from YouTube.
I wish Hartmann had asked him to explicitly outline exactly how gay marriage threatens heterosexual marriage–however, I did love that he called NOM (nom, nom, nom…) out for being a bit hypocritical; after all, you don’t see this group bothering to address the 52% divorce rate, do you? Things that make you go “Hmmm…”
It’s obvious how it THREATENS marriage … the gaygenda is to make gay marriage MANDATORY not optional. Why don’t you think of the CHILDREN except the the disobedient ones who should obviously be stoned to DEATH.

Colbert’s was far better than this, but the more parodies the merrier.
OMFZeus!! I think that’s the bst one I’ve seen. And Sarah Chalke from Scrubs was in it! It makes me like her even more that she would participate in something like this.
Lol “Gay rain army”. And hey, that chick at the end? Wasn’t she in that Role Models movie telling Stifler and some othe guy that she used to be a crack whore?? Haaahahahahaha.
The countdown for godbot cranks overwhelming this comment thread with their “But, but Jebus thinks it’s ICKY!!” nonsense begins now…
