I’ve heard about it before but just didn’t think they would be stupid enough to actually put it into practice. I wonder if they are going to update their immigraton questions to ask “Have you ever taken any of the major faiths god’s name in vain?”

It’s stuff like this why I don’t watch the news anymore. Unless something really tragic happened, or it’s an election or something, the news is always trawling up this type of dreck, human interest stories. I could have gotten through the day without knowing this, so it’s not news. You want to be warm and friendly, dress in bear costumes instead of getting your hair did and affecting the har-har and the banter, and if you don’t have enough program to fill the time slot, you’re done, go home. I’d watch the news if they put some good cartoons in the last ten minutes instead of this. Local, national, sports, weather, dressed in bear costumes, and cartoons would be ok. Haven’t seen Bugs Bunny in, like, forever. Let’s not drive a van full of equipment and crew out to report on a tree sighting unless that tree is singing.

Can’t see that shit either. They just want to see the image in there so they could be on TV after a week or two, when he died. Very pathetic and sad, because he died on my 18th birthday and I don’t appreciate idiotic women like that thinking they see a screwed-up image of Michael on the tree’s branch stump.

Actually I was reading somewhere that an Irish atheist organisation is planning a “mass blaspheme” against all three Abrahamic religions as a protest against the new anti-blasphemy laws. They’re on about charging twenty thousand Euros for blasphemy, apparently.
