I’m with God here. According to Christianity, life is pretty much worthless, anyways. It’s whole purpose is to satisfy God’s arbitrary moral demands, so he might as well focus on those.

What a great video. It’s a great encapsulation of the problem of evil and on how if god really is omnipotent, etc., then he must be one heartless bastard.
Malevolent or stupid? They say it’s omnipotence, omniscience, and omni-benevolence right? How about incredibly stupid? This video is a great example of everything wrong with ThreeO, I love it.
I believe the three O’s are logically impossible.
Omnipotence is itself a paradox that contradicts itself.

The problem of evil, “Theodicy” as its often called, kills all three O’s
“Theodicy” refers to an attempted answer to / justification for the problem of evil.
You’re right. Theodicy is the theist’s attempt at answering the problem of evil. sorry about that, thanks for the correction.

We need more of these types of video’s.

very smart video. yet medical, science , wealth, and all the things mention is not what Jesus purpose. cause all those things cannot solve the problem of sin. basic human nature of greed n violence . with all these advancement in science cannot prevent nuclear war , aids, economy crisis.its not so simple that a 9 min video can explain
The problem of sin only exists after you assume that a violation of God’s law is possible. This violation is only possible if God exists. Since he doesn’t, there is no sin. What you call ‘human nature’ is just that – nature. It perfectly understandable and consistent since we are animals.
Do you think all the advances in science that have vastly improved AIDS treatment are useless? Do you think living to old age instead of dying within five years is nothing? Do you despise human life that much?
What prevents nuclear war is fear, ethical behavior and foresighted thinking. It has nothing to do with gods, sin or magic.
There have always been economic crises, ever since supply and demand became a factor of human society. You are right that it’s not simple. There is no invisible hand that sets everything right – neither a magical market mechanism nor a divine one.
Ok assume that God and jezus does not exist. What would be different to this world that we otherwise would not have?
Imagine you grow up in a pure atheist society, no reference to any god and religion. Now how would you not know that Jezus does not exist?
