  1. Ooh, that hurts!

  2. Burn!

  3. Hmmm maybe Gene Rodenberry had all those guys in red shirts killed in Star Trek as a metaphor for society’s inability to accept Freethinkers.

  4. I dont get it. Someone explain it to me… i get the joke, but not the reason behind it… also, is it a star trek thing? (red shirt) .. thanks..

  5. AND BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Does anyone know where I can find the full thing? I want to see the context behind this clip.

  7. Try here, mahousniper. It’s in 10 parts.

  8. Deepak Chopra doesn’t seem to have the same sense of humor the Bishop has. The Bishop almost fell out of his chair laughing. Points to him. He was the only one who saw the humor it it.

  9. What a super remark! Chopra is probably still trying to figure it out.

  10. Lmao, pwned.

  11. I think it would have helped to put more context into that remark. From looking at the intro to the discussion, it was a debate on whether Satan really exists. Deepak and the Bishop were arguing against the belief in a literal Satan.

In this case, it appears that those two were on the more anti-superstition side and “Red Shirt” was trying to undermine one of their arguments with a nice quip.

It was a clever reply, but I doubt I would have been cheering if I had been in attendance.

  12. Zing!

  13. Ouch!! And, HA!!

  14. Oh, snap!

  15. Not that I don’t love the fact that a quack like Deepak Chopra is being made to look like a fool, but without greater context I can only presume that the audience member’s snipe was defending religious belief. Then again, if blind faith religious types fight with new age mysticism-invoking con-men, everyone wins.

  16. Red shirt was obviously defending faith. However it was a very amusing comment and I can find the humor in it even if I don’t agree with the purpose behind it.

  17. Beatles artist Alan Aldridge did a stunning cover for Deepak Chopra’s MYMAG MYMAG.com
