The Reason Project Video Contest

Sam Harris’s Reason Project is holding a video contest “to spread scientific thinking and secular values.” They want folks to submit videos that will further their work by “submitting a short video that conveys the message of the foundation.”

They have some pretty good prize money lined up:

1st place: $10,000
2nd place: $4,000
3rd place: $1,000

Submissions are open until Feb 28, 2010. If any of you submit a video, be sure to post a link here to your submission on youtube.

  1. I’d been learning and using animation for a far different project when this competition came up. So, having been loosed from my religious shackles, I felt the need for a detour. It took me about 3 weeks to write and create my 5 minute entry for The Reason Project’s video contest:

  2. Posted a video for the Critical Thinking contest. Love to hear your thoughts on it. It’s only 90 seconds — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dwhEXQrzs4
