lolz. Especially when the super natural is usually so indoctrinated into people, they cant even imagine a world without it!
Reminds me of a quote I once read:
“Physicists imagine the most wondrous things.”
I don’t remember who said this, I believe it was a mathematician, and that’s probably not exact. Even though it specifically names physicists, it seems like it generally applies to any scientist, as all of the disciplines must imagine the must wondrous things in order to simply figure reality and the universe in which we live.
Funny that you mention wondrous… It reminds me of another quote of Abbey’s:

What is imagination? Can we control what we imagine? Or is it out of our control? Thinking is different. We decide to juggle all the data that we perceive in our brain in order to help us explain something or experience something. Using experimentation( for the French experience means experiment) . So for me imagination is exterior andthinking is inside us. Imagination is as bad as the supernatural. Just a thought! Can you imagine?
